Santa Barbara Audubon honors chapter donors each year. The Tecolote Circle members - donors who have contributed $1000 to the Santa Barbara Audubon Endowment, or have made a bequest benefiting the endowment - are invited to an event to thank them for supporting Audubon's programming. Since the Birds of Prey campaign to construct the aviary, we have included major donors to that campaign and annual operations.

In 2011, we met at the Ennisbrook Clubhouse in Montecito. This was thanks to Ennisbrook resident Penny Bianchi-we had planned to meet at her home, and view the duck pond and floating duck house, but threatening weather moved the location of the event.

Audubon's Eyes in the Sky director Gabriele Drozdoski presented Kisa, a Peregrine Falcon, new to the program and adapting well to audiences.
